The term "Sport Horse" covers a wide range of equines including the traditional warmbloods (Hanovarians, Trakhaners, etc.) to cross breds combining any of several breeds. At POCOLONG, we're focused on producing sport horses from our registered Percheron and Clydesdale mares crossed with paint, thoroughbred, or American saddlebred stallions. The foals from the paint cross are registered with the North American Spotted Draft Horse Association (NASDHA).

The Saddlebred crosses are registered with the International Georgian Grande Association. We've chosen these particular combinations because they produce horses of size, substance, and good trainable temperments. These are horses of tremendous talent, from hunters and jumpers to eventers to dressage horses. They also make wonderful trail, pleasure, and working ranch horses. All of our breedings are carefully planned, always guided by one primary principal: VERSATILITY.

Pocolong's Weiser Guy >
2004 bay tobiano
NASDHA registered gelding.
Sire: Tidal Wave
Dam: Miss Duchess, a registered Clydesdale mare.

Standing a solid 16.1, "Buddy" is a superb athlete over fences. He's an "in your pocket" kind of guy with a sense of humor and more talent than he knows what to do with. Guess he's taking after his daddy. Eligible for ASHA registry.

PAISLEY PRINCESS If you love sport horses with flashy color, you'll love this BUCKSKIN 2010 filly. Registered Georgian Grande (pending), Paisley is out of a black Percheron mare and sired by our American Saddlebred stallion. She's going to be BIG, powerful and as sweet and agreeable as any horse could ever be. Her full sister, 2 yo bay filly named King's Dark Dancer (sold) and now starting basic training, is super smart and extremely talented!

Yearling, registered Georgian Grande gray gelding. Hammer will be BIG and will make an awesome jumper: he already runs around jumping anything he can find in the pasture. This horse is a sport horse deluxe; he won't stay at this price for long!

At age four, Chinook is halter broke and will soon be starting under saddle. She'll turn heads with her great conformation and striking chestnut color with a lovely flaxen mane and tail! Her price will only go up the more training we put on her, so get her now!
